Overview

Boost Field Marketing is a Dutch Promotions company, specializing in retail, event marketing, brand management, loyalty programs and project management.  Boost are an innovative company, offering their clients a broad range of marketing solutions, to which mobile data capture lends itself.  

Problem

Boost’s client, The Dutch Postcode Lottery, had organised an event where they planned to do a live draw.  They had stipulated the real-time technology medium they wanted to use had to be totally reliable for the event to be a success.

eSAY’s Solution

On time and within budget, eSAY supplied a PDA based solution on a Windows 6 platform.  The PDAs were loaded with Postcode Lottery branded digital forms, and given to ten representatives at the event.  With very minimal training, thanks to the technology’s user-friendly nature, the Boost representatives were soon collecting large amounts of data in no time at all.  This data was instantly filed to a secure website in the UK, from which a winner was picked at random at the end of the event. 

Results and Benefits

The results of this project were impressive – in just six hours Boost’s representatives gathered over 2000 names and postcodes, 30% more than anticipated, with zero mistakes.  Thanks to this success Boost is looking to use the same technology with its other large European clients.
